On the afternoon of February 8, 2026, the 2025 Annual Summary Meeting of the Jiao Yang Research Group was successfully convened in the Conference Room of Zone C. All faculty members and students of the group gathered to comprehensively review the struggles and achievements of the past year and map out the development blueprint for the coming year.
At the meeting, Prof. Jiao first delivered an opening speech. Subsequently, he provided a systematic and in-depth summary of the group’s overall development in 2025, covering various aspects such as scientific research work, academic exchanges, and talent cultivation.
While reviewing the work of the past year, Prof. Jiao noted that 2025 was a year of steady progress for the research group. Despite facing heavy research tasks and difficult challenges, all members rose to the occasion and achieved gratifying progress in project applications and research advancements. He fully affirmed the hard work and dedication of every member over the past year and expressed appreciation for the positive spirit demonstrated in academic innovation and teamwork.
While acknowledging the achievements, Prof. Jiao also objectively analyzed the opportunities and challenges currently facing the group. He outlined the vision and deployment of key work priorities for 2026. He encouraged all members to maintain a rigorous and pragmatic scientific attitude in the new year, further refine their research directions, strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation, and strive for greater breakthroughs in key fields.
The atmosphere at the meeting was warm and harmonious. Attendees listened attentively and engaged in active interaction and exchange. This annual summary meeting served not only as a comprehensive review of the past year’s work but also as a rallying call to unite hearts and clarify goals. Looking ahead to 2026, all members of the Jiao Group are poised to forge ahead with greater enthusiasm and high spirits, writing a new chapter in the group’s development.
This year, the students have achieved significant progress and received numerous awards:
Wei He: Selected for the High-level Doctoral Student Training Plan and passed the application-assessment evaluation.
Hanyuan Liu: Awarded the Xing Qiyu Scholarship and selected for the High-level Doctoral Student Training Plan.
Six Undergraduate Students: All awarded the title of “Outstanding Camper” at summer camps and successfully obtained postgraduate recommendation qualifications (waived from the national postgraduate entrance exam).
Haitao Wang: Approved for the Beijing Undergraduate Qiyuan Research Project (with 50,000 RMB in funding).
Zhouyuan Wang & Chenlin Cai: Received offers from the National University of Singapore (NUS) for overseas study.
