Fangyu Liu was born on May 6, 2004, in Changsha, Hunan Province. In 2022, he was admitted to Peking University, where he enrolled in the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering to study chemical biology. He specializes in organic synthesis and synthetic methodology and is particularly interested in the applications of porous materials in gas adsorption. In 2025, he joined Professor Sihai Yang’s research group, focusing on developing new MOF materials by synthesizing ligands with diverse structures and exploring their applications in gas storage and separation.
