Zekai Wang

Zekai Wang was born in Dezhou, Shandong Province, in 2004. He began his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University, in 2022. He was awarded a Gold Medal in the 35th Chinese Chemistry Olympiad (2021). In 2025, he joined the research group of Prof. Sihai Yang to undertake his final-year project. Under the joint supervision of Prof. Sihai Yang and Prof. Jiangnan Li, he is currently investigating the use of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) for gas adsorption and separation, driven by a strong interest in the structure–property relationships of porous materials.
