Dr. Wang Letian, Class of 2020, successfully defended his PHD thesis on December 5th, and will continue his postdoc research in the group. We will miss him and wish him all the best in the future.

At the recent "Innovative Drug Delivery" Ph.D. Symposium hosted by Peking University,  our 5th year student Dai Yuanhao was awarded Second Prize for his outstanding research presentation. Great job!

Our 5th year student Zhou haisen recently participated in an academic event at Wuhan University. Separately, he was invited to deliver a research presentation at the "Chemistry Cultivation Forum"!

Our 5th year student Zhou haisen was awarded the prestigious 2025 ChemStar Award of CCME based on his recent work on Function-Orientated and Machine Learning-Assisted High-Throughput Synthesis and Screening of Synthetic Polypeptides. Great job!

Three graduate students (Wang Shuo, He Yahui, and Lyu Chunyan) successfully defended their PHD theses on May 28th. Three undergraduate students (Cai Haoran, Tang Chenming, and Wu Baiyu) successfully received his B.S. degree in chemistry. We are thrilled to announce the remarkable achievements of our graduating students this year.
Dr. Wang Shuo has been honored with the Peking University Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award for his groundbreaking work in computational chemistry. Additionally, he was named the College of Chemistry Honorary Graduate (No. 001).
Cai Haoran was selected as the student representative to deliver a speech at the College of Chemistry's graduation ceremony. Additionally, he received the Beijing Municipal Outstanding Graduate Award and other honors, underscoring his all-around excellence in academics and leadership.

May 2025

Dr. He Yahui , Class of 2020, will join Wuxi Capital Group Co., Ltd.
Dr. Lyu Chunyan , Class of 2020, will join China Bluestar Chengrand Co., Ltd.

Our 5th year student Wang Shuo was awarded the prestigious 2024 ChemStar Award of CCME based on his recent work on carboxylic acid-catalyzed ring-opening (cascade) polymerization of N-carboxyanhydrides. Great job!

Dr. Liu Xingyi, Class of 2019, successfully defended his PHD thesis on May 24th, and will join Apricot Capital as a investment manager.
Lu Mingyuan, Class of 2020, received his B.S. degree in chemistry and will continue his PhD research in our group.
